On May 28, 2025, 40 Neighbors of Trumbauersville attended our second neighborhood Town Hall where we discussed the expansion plans of Bracalente Manufacturing Group (BMG) on the Creamery Acres site. To date, we have welcomed over 50 neighbors to our facility for Town Hall Meetings.
The discussions of these meetings have surrounded BMG’s need for growth, BMG’s commitment to grow responsibly, and how BMG will address stormwater management.
The history of Bracalente was shared – how my grandfather Sil started the business out of the garage of his and Stella’s house on 250 N Main Street in 1950 and how BMG has grown into a global business with its headquarters proudly remaining in Trumbauersville, PA.
We cleared up many misconceptions surrounding VOC emissions, traffic, water run-off pollution, drinking water contamination, and sewer capacity and shared how we are proceeding with engineering our stormwater management plan to improve the water flooding that occurs on Allentown Road near Oak Drive.
Neighbors asked questions in a friendly manner and responses were provided until all questions were addressed. Members from both the Trumbauersville Planning Commission and Trumbauersville Borough Council were present.
Bringing the neighborhood together to openly discuss our plan was fruitful and I believe everyone left with a better understanding of the facts and what is actually happening. We also used the opportunity to understand the needs and desires of the neighbors who attended so, moving forward, we can design a plan that addresses their concerns.
We look forward to continuing these open conversations and working together for the betterment of Trumbauersville. Thank you for your support!
